Microsoft Windows Seven-th Heaven for Intranets?
The latest incarnation of the Windows family has been unveiled in Los Angeles and promises to revolutionise the way we all work and play.
Windows Vista hasn’t had the best press and with a commercial age of less than a year, Microsoft may be seen to not believe it’s own spin machine claiming Vista has produced record sales!
Whatever the arguments and early reviews of Windows 7, one thing is for sure, Microsoft will be integrating services that will change the way we use our intranet, extranet and internet.
MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) made combining all our online services much easier in a relatively affordable solution. Microsoft claim Windows 7 will further integrate our online world blurring the line between our hard drive and our networked world.
